[LargeFormat] Horseman or Gandolfi?

I have a Graphic View II. When it's locked up tight, it's pretty sturdy. Do
you lock the gears on the monorail? It certainly doesn't have front or rear
fall but it's other movements seem pretty extensive. I've had it radically
"moved" to get good depth of field and subject selection. It separates into
parts. I would say mine feels very sturdy and I take mine out all the
ime - I don't use it inside. It's certainly not a field camera but I
wouldn't say it's enormously cumbersome. It's only 4x5 after all. Field
cameras tend to have fewer movements if anything and may achieve bellows
draw for longer lenses with two or three-stage extensions. These are likely
to make the GVII seem sturdy if anything.
