Perhaps the best Latin phrase for Large Format photographers is "Facite
magnopere aut iti domun."

In classical Latin, this would translate literally as, "Go forth in
splendor or return unto your hearth."  A Roman Legionnaire in the first
century AD would have recognized this phrase as slang, probably along
the lines of, "Take a big shit and jump in the fire."

But a more colloquial translation into our modern English would read as,
"Go big, or go home."
