yep that is correct!  The quality of the negs and plates are much better and
there is not spotting at all.  The metal plates are made from aluminum and
can be stored for years if needed.  The black plate can be kept but it is
not advisable.  There are several types of plate burners not just the
Nu-Arc.  Just a matter of how much you want to spend like in everything
else.
