I guess that was the ApoLanthar. I have a friend with a 150mm and he said
how bright and how big it was. I wonder whether the latest apo lenses aren't
a whole lot better than the classic ones in terms of sharpness/contrast. The
prices seem to be in the stratosphere though.  The physical dimensions
mostly make them unusable on small cameras unless the lensboards are large.
My Century Graphics have the smallest lensboards I have come across. Even
the little Linhofs are better in this respect. Pity they are so tricky (I
sold mine) with the 47mm S.A. that goes quite nicely on the Century Graphic,
even allows limited rise.   Philip
