$1.50 my foot!  I've guessed correctly and won auctions by less than a 
quarter because the ahh 'newcomer' bid in whole amounts.   I also lost an 
auction by a penny because I bid an even dollar, but it was something that 
I wasn't desperate for.

Auction Sniper charges 1% with a minimum of .25 and a max of $5.00    If 
you use it for auction of less than $150 or so the fees are quite 
reasonable and you don't have to tell your wife that you have to leave the 
party/shopping/movie early because you have to go snipe something.
