It might lubricate for a while, but sooner or later it turns to sludge, 
then varnish. That's why SK Grimes dissassembles the shutters, cleans and 
dries them completely. Even V&HP Naptha will leave a residue. Lighter 
fluid is worse, and Kero is below that.
