You'll find that the bed intrudes into the image if shooting in the
vertical position. You also have the option of dropping the lens board
for compositional purposes with the bed lowered.

for those who own or know the super technika:
when using the 90mm super angulon, the instructions tell one to drop the
bed into the second position (15 degree position)
and tilt back the lens board to compensate, push the upper track
to the back position use the first set of infinity stops.
however, i find i cannot get infinity focus when i do this.
the camera does seem to work fine with the bed in the normal open
position, rangefinder couples exactly, and the bed does not appear
to intrude into the picture area.
which is right?
