Hello Clive:

Thanks for the reply. I used Kodalith about 40 years ago, developed in
a mixture of one half Dektol and one half Kodalith developer, to make
continuous tone shots with a lot of extra contrast.

I thought about it for this mini-project but I've found that lith film,
(and any B&W film) is still more expensive than enlarging paper is on
ebay. And, since this isn't something where I'm looking to produce
anything that I want to print as a positive, the paper should do fine.
If serendipity gives me a really good shot or two then I can scan the
paper negative and reverse it in Photoshop

The whole idea of this effort is to save some of the money that I've
been WASTING by testing with 11x14 chrome stock and the resulting $15.00
each for processing.

Not a complete waste though, because I've been able to cut some of them
down to 8x10 when I've encountered unanticipated vignetting.
