[LargeFormat] sheet film developing

I use Ilford HP 5+, I do a 5 minute pre soak.  The pre
soak washes out the dye.  You can see it in the water
as it empties out.

Hope this helps.  I talked to a Ilford rep one time,
first time I pre soaked, (thought I had ruined the
film)  he told me not to worry, that it didn't hurt
the film at all.  I developed it as I would any other
and didn't notice any ill effects.
