[LargeFormat] enlarging lenses

continuing as a callow large-format photographer, i find i need to
get a new enlarger lens for my 45MXT.   my old 35mm and medium
format lenses have  39mm screw mounts and they fit on my beseler turret.
i am looking at the schneider 135 componon S and it is listed variously
as having 42 or 50mm mounts.  beseler shows adapters to put these
onto 39mm mounts.  wouldn't this cause vignetting putting a big lens
into a little hole?
