Carbon Fiber is not really plastic as in the cheap kind. Just like the CF
tripods are not made of cheap plastic either.

A CF camera does not have to be of any lower quality than a metal camera,
just like the CF tripods are also very high quality items. The production
process is usually also quite different, with the CF parts having to "bake"
in an autoclave for extended periods of time and such things.

I am quite suprised the CF Toyo is so cheap. I know that CF bits for my
motorcycle tend to be two or three times as expensive as non-CF bits...

Then again, it may still turn out to be a cheaply made camera that'll fall
apart before the first box of film is empty. Let's hope not though :)
