Dear Schuyler,

     Thank you for your application to join our studio staff. Unfortunately
the Canning City Council has a ruling in their guidelines for small home
business that you may only employ members of the household. Of course, we
pay the candidman for weddings regularly, and the models when we feel like
it, but as you are not a relative or member of the household, I'm afraid it
would be illegal.

    If you are prepared to emigrate and declare yourself to be an endangered
species I could get you an exemption from the quarantine service, but it
would mean you would have to share a cage at the Perth Zoo with Cuddles. Not
bad quarters,and as long as you made no sudden moves, probably safe.
