Is this the camera I've seen a picture of mounted on a railroad car in the
1800s?

What an incredible piece!  I wonder how many assistants he uses to do a
print with that?  You probaly need a couple just to handle the film
holder, another couple to pull the dark slide.  Then there is the man in
front to move the focussing knob.  Then all those in the middle to
adjust the intermediate bellows.  Then the Photographer Himself with the
focusing loupe in the back...
