Thanks Mike & Les,

I tried what Les had suggested, but the gods were still frowning, so now
I'll try refixing and washing.  At this point I don't have much to lose, and
I'd really hate to lose this image.  I'll let you know if this latest
suggestion works.  Thanks again guys!
