I experimented with Bumper Black (Simoniz sell it for cars) to see if it was
good on black camera bodies. Rather than risk a serious old black LF camera
I tried some on my Nikon F3 and motordrive.  The result was the black paint
whether glossy or matt looked much improved as did the "leather" body trim .
It made the motor drive cycle faster and left me with an ethnic right
forefinger. If I can sell that outfit now I can get a 47mm S Angulon XL....
Still looking for advice on a 6x9 Arca monorail - anybody tried one?

Pledge seems to be fairly inert. I've used it on the same wood camera for 30
years plus with out any problems. There is no lemon it it just a smell.
What you are spraying is a gel form of Armor All.
