Dear LFers,
I am very new to LF, in fact developed my first negatives (using my new Toyo
45D) today. Exposure was determined using EOS 1v as a spot meter (I do not
own a seperate light meter yet) and it turned out to be perfect.
But the problem is that there are numerous wavy, snake like (edges not
always smooth) scratches on the dried negatives and I am wodering how I can
get rid of this problem next time.
They are not straight, so may not have come from holders' slide. did they
come from developing trays, solution? I did agitate the trays every 30 sec.
Water to prepare Rodinal was filtered from our regular drinking water
filter.
Pl let me know any thoughts you may have. also any suggestions.
For 35mm, I have a single roll, Jobo tank, anything like that exists for 4X5
which can take atleast 6-8 negatives? (lastly, I am not professional, so it
better be cheap!) :) pl pl help!
thanks,
achal
