Clive, My understanding is that you need to purchase a "lift kit". Probably does involve breaking out the spanners, though I don't think it's terribly technical. The gear drive is part of the lift, but you will need to buy cogs for the tanks. The two systems are not interchangeable, so once you make the changeover, you won't have any use for the magnet drives. Karl
