[LargeFormat] Enlargers and the New Darkroom

Dear Don,

     Well, thanks for the encouragement. I'm always amazed when something
goes right. Most of my professional practise is a surprise, one way or the
other, driving is an exhilirating experience, and sex has always been
amazing. One day I am going to work up enough courage to open my eyes and
see what is actually going on. In the surgery, I mean....

    The reproduction of reality is exactly what I am looking for - I shuffle
around with the colours and shapes of my subjects before I release the
shutter and am happy to print out what is on the negative. This includes
fingerprints and flyspecks but then they are a part of reality.

    The contrast question is no problem for me since Kodak brought ou the VC
and NC versions of Portra. Admittedly the 4 x 5 160 is only available round
here in VC but I see that if I am desperate that they do make it in NC. I
like the colours like the dancers - bouncy.

    Must close - bouncing off to the darkroom to poke things about.
