[LargeFormat] Garden Landscape Photography

Eh?

With a wider lens, you can shoot from within the garden and get a much more
dramatic view. I would think that, with a smaller yard, a wide-angle would
place the house (assuming you want the house in the photo) farther off in
the distance, while emphasizing the design elements of the garden itself.

The choice of lens would depend, in large part, on one's individual shooting
style.

I, personally, would most likely make use of my 75/90/120mm lenses for this
type of project. I like the drama that is given by the near-far
relationships of objects that is provided by wider lenses when shooting
architectural subjects, and I believe that the same would apply with
gardens.

My $.02
