Hi all,

Just purchased an Epson 2450 scanner which has ability to scan face on
as well as 35mm, 120, and 4x5 trannies and negs.  It comes with good
reviews in the slicks and 1st efforts are really amazing.  Caveat is
that this is my 1st attempt at scanning any neg/trannie film so I don't
quite know exactly what I'm looking for.  What I'm seeing on the monitor
is great. The unit comes with PS light and Silverfast, again, I'm new to
scanning so I'm working my way into this.  

Equipment is:  Wista 4x5, Toyo 8x10 field, Kodak 2D 5x7 with Wollensak
variable focus lens.  I've done the most work with the Wista and am
anticipating more intimate 'conversations' with the other two.  Also
have a Toyo 4x5 monorail, '76 vintage.  Just completed my new B/W
darkroom and produced some Christmas gifts, nothing exceptional tho.
