[LargeFormat] Projecting large format transparencies

Noblux 4x5.
The B&H Professional Photo Source Book descibes it but their web site
dosen't list it.
A Google search for Nobulx gave me a site that states "the projectors are
not being produced at the moment". Check out

I don't know if anyone currently makes such a beast, but I do know that they
once roamed the earth. The one I saw in operation (in the mid-'70s) was the
genuine article, as you describe.  I think its light source was a carbon
arc, but I wouldn't swear to it.  I expect that you wouldn't want to leave a
chrome in the gate very long...
