[LargeFormat] Scanning large format transparencies

I would be very surprised if this would work on the average scanner... they
typically provide their own light source for reflective media.  Some have an
attachment to do 35mm slides and negs... if yours is like this, I'd try
connecting the slide hood to fool the scanner into believing it doesn't need
it's internal light source, then find a nice uniform source to shine through
the transparency.  I would recommend finding a DC light source as it won't
have the 50 or 60 cycle flicker.  Failing that, an AC incandescent won't
flicker as badly as a flourescent!

Maybe a good light box/diffusion cover with some halogen car headlamps?
