[LargeFormat] Homemade Studio Stands?

Clive, I apologize for the muddled question.

I want a studio stand to hold a Cambo 4x5 Legend Monorail. I have a Bogen
tripod that can handle the weight, but something sturdier, with a rolling
and locking base would be best. Something that could extend to 8' would be
nice, but not necessary.
