I use a normal enlargeing lens for macro. I personally think that the lens is the most important part, so spend your money there, bodies, theres loads. I have an MPP tech camera that I have used for a few years and love it. Cost me £175. It has triple extention There is a loyal following in the UK. Even a users club. Large format equipment can be a lemon when you try and sell.

Now I have 3 lenses the 150 is the least used, so think first, its a general purpose lens, like the 50mm on a 35mm system, bit short for portrait bit long for landscape, esp if you want a strong forground with great depth of field. Hire borrow until you find what suits you. Then buy.
