[LargeFormat] Getting a View Camera Down Low

I'm turning 50 next year. Nothing I can do about it sort of ending the
whole thing, and I'm not ready to do that yet.

My dad was in the Christmas tree business from the late '50s through about
'90. I fondly remember him out in the garage running those 2x2s and 2x4s
through a band saw, cutting out a meniscus (the part to be turned 90 deg.)
from each one (my brother still has the band saw!). I think there was
something along the lines of ten thousand stands to make. Thanksgiving was
pretty much the beginning of Christmas season for us (the stands would have
been done in the late Summer or early Fall), what with starting to set up
the lots so everything would be ready for December. Never saw my dad too
much in December.
