[LargeFormat] 300mm Lenses - To Copal or not to Copal

Back in to the office. Time marches on (and as it's quiet!) am now thinking 
about using a 260mm Hexanon lens as I seem to have trouble finding the 
lens/shutter combination that would really make me happy.

The options are to shell out for a new Copal #1, or rejuvenate a Compur #1 
and generally persuade the Hexanon lens to change its preferences to 
shutter instead of barrel.

Has anyone else used one of these lenses and done something similar?
