[LargeFormat] Why Large Format?

Greetings,

No, not yet. The 14,000' lightning attempt, produced some nice stom clouds,
but no lightning. It was indeed lightning, but I was too chicken to stick
around much longer than the few failed attempts. 14,000 feet with a metal
camera and carbon fiber tripod are no place to be when a storm is
approaching. I only tried it, because I knew I could get down very quickly
and took the chance, I doubt I would do it again.

Snow's a lot easier, especially if it's very cold. The colder the better,
because it wont melt and is very easy to blow off the bellows.

Regards, Pete
