I forgot to mention that I am currently using the enlarger for 35mm at the
moment (while furiously saving up cash for a 150 Rodagon!) I've tried two
carriers so far, and both have problems. The first is designed for roll
film, so has a channel designed into it for the excess film to stick out
either side. This leaks light VERY badly. So, I switched to a carrier for
5x7, switching out the glass pairs for a set of flat plates with 35mm
apertures. This one has the felt traps, and looks to be in good shape. It
still leaks light pretty badly, though.

Can you describe where, and how, you attached the velcro? I know it's only
a machine, but somehow I'm reluctant to make a permanent modification to
this gorgeous monster...

Cheers,
