Well, I'm not Clive by any means, but for B&W film processing I have to
agree with his recommendation.  One can easily do 10-12 sheets at a batch in
a tray.  A few minutes in the dark is peaceful respite, giving the mind an
opportunity to wander freely when denied the sense of sight.  I find it most
relaxing.

If you insist on tanks or tubes, look into the Jobo 2521 or 2551 (one and
two reel respectively), up to 6 sheets per reel, processing tank, reel and
loader.  This model fits all Jobo processors, unlike the expert models which
do not fit the CPE processors.  Excellent, repeatable results with only
slightly more fuss than tray processing.  For color, the 25x1 processing
drums are the ticket.
