[LargeFormat] Rain in England

Well, am back here in Bristol after a few very wet days in the South
East of England visiting family. Took the usual kit along, MPP 4x5
and a selection of lenses + film. Was tempted to take the 5x7 also
but the weather forecast was dire.

As it turned out there was one day when the weather played ball and I
revisited two favourite spots for photography. One of these was a
Cathedral, the other a field with views of an ancient round towered
church surrounded by a small copse. The golden light on the field of
corn stubble was superb and the church was illuminated briefly by
sunlight - am keeping fingers crossed for that shot....

Am hoping that there will a few good images sitting in the
Grafmatics. It'll probably be a few days before finding time to
develop the film....

The whole of England appears to be sinking at the moment - there are
also winds gusting up to 80mph. I thought global warming meant that
we had hotter summers and less rain ;-)
