Have had BellSouth FastAccess ADSL since October and have not experienced
this problem. Sounds like a mail server or mail client problem. If your
connection speed looks OK (mine always reports 10.0 Mbps) and Web surfing is
quick, it looks like a problem with the mail server or client. Maybe your
ISP can help.
Just a guess, and I hope it helps.
