Dear Helpline:
On January 22 I downloaded the Grisoft free anti-virus program, they said=
they would e-mail me a serial number for installation of the program. To=
day is January 25, and I haven't yet received the number. The web site st=
ates that they don't provide any tech support, and I don't see an e-mail =
address to contact them.
=20
They did send me a password via e-mail "to access the web interface of AV=
G Virus Alert", stating that this was NOT a serial number for installatio=
n, it would be sent in a future e-mail. Today I sent an e-mail to the sen=
der of the password: sympa@lists.grisoft.cz.;I told them that I haven't y=
et rec'd the serial number, and I am anxious to install the anti-virus pr=
ogram, I asked them to let me know if I need to take any further action t=
o complete the process.
I immediately received a reply which is very confusing. The reply consist=
ed of my entire message to them, followed by two sentences in a foreign l=
anguage.
I am very nervous about not having virus protection. Do you have any sugg=
estions?
Thank you,
Laura DeLeon
