[Guinea-list] Visas for student volunteer work in Guinea

Hello everyone,

I am organizing a trip to bring a small group of
students to Guinea to do some preliminary work with an
NGO that would lead into a volunteer engineering
project here in the States.

Does anybody know whether a regular tourist visa is
suitable in this instance?  If not, what sort of visa
would be required
