            The Land of Israel Necklace

         The Christian people must rise up and stand with their brethren in Israel and make their voices heard to stop this travesty. We are asking Christians to do everything possible to petition the Israeli government to halt the Waqf [Islamic Trust] destruction and have archaeologists immediately inspect the area. 

        b.. Stumbling toward catastrophe

         Even the ongoing Palestinian rocket attacks against Israeli towns and villages seem to evoke barely more than passing public interest. On Monday, Islamic Jihad fired over half a dozen Kassams into southern Israel, mockingly describing them as "a gift for the opening of the school year." One of those "gifts" slammed into the courtyard of a day care center for toddlers in Sderot, nearly causing a disaster. This kind of incident should have shocked us to the very core of our being, but the fact is Palestinian rocket attacks have become so common, thanks to the government's lack of response, that they hardly register on our collective conscience any more. 

        c.. Gaza's power line

         This is what the gathered ministers must weigh today. They need to set aside political face-saving, mindful of the facts that their task isn't to administer a palliative to Sderot's residents but to free them from danger. No other country would stand for the rocketing of its citizens for so long, let alone supply the offending area with the electricity to produce the rockets. 

        d.. The imperatives of war
