            The Land of Israel Necklace
            consists of a crystal glass pendant filled with the entire Land of Israel including Jerusalem, Hebron, Bethlehem, Nazareth, The Sea of Galilee, The Jordan River, The Dead Sea, as well as other locations.         a.. Wishful thinking's painful price

         So Hamas has time. It will sit (mostly) quietly by as Israel and the US help establish Abbas and his new PA in power. Let the world pour money into those areas; let Israel and the US supply more arms to the Fatah-controlled PA there. In the end it will not matter - to Hamas. When the time is right, Hamas will do in the "West Bank" what it did in Gaza - sweep the Fatah leadership aside and fly the green flag of Islam from the roof of the Mukata. 

        b.. Grounded in fantasy

         Olmert and Bush claim that by backing Abbas militarily, financially and politically they will be setting up an "alternative Palestine" which will rival Hamas's jihadist Palestine. As this notion has it, envious of the good fortune of their brethren in Judea and Samaria, Gazans will overthrow Hamas and the course will be set for peace - replete with the ethnic cleansing of Judea and Samaria and eastern Jerusalem of all Jewish presence.
        Why would a handover of Judea and Samaria to Abbas's Fatah produce a better outcome than Israel's 2005 handover of Gaza to Abbas's Fatah? They refuse to answer this question because they know full well that the answer is that there is absolutely no reason to believe that the outcome can be better. 

        c.. Who Are the Evangelical Christians?

         Evangelicals today are the most fervent supporters of Israel in the Western world. Political support for Israel is one of their highest priorities. They are genuine Zionists whose faith is based on the Bible, believing that God gave the Land of Israel to the Jewish People. Most importantly, the Evangelicals completely reject Replacement Theology, which means they regard Judaism as a foundation for Christianity, rather than that Judaism was replaced by it. 

        d.. Rotten to the core

         Ah, the fabled Palestinian people. The Palestinian people, who simply want "a better life." The Palestinian people, who, President George W. Bush has repeatedly informed us, "long for a society in which they can raise their children in peace and hope." The Palestinian people, who support, fund and execute suicide bombings. The Palestinian people, who dress their toddlers in bomb belts and then take family snapshots. The Palestinian people, who cheered on September 11 as the World Trade Center towers fell. 

        e.. Canada the brave

         So how does the supposedly reformed UN Human Rights Council conclude this pivotal year? By removing two known human rights abusers, Cuba and Belarus, from its roster of "special mandates," and by enshrining Israel as the only country in the world to receive permanent scrutiny. Finally, the council voted 46 to 1 (Canada), in effect retroactively and falsely deciding that consensus had been reached and blatantly violating, as Canada's ambassador put it, "more than 60 years of established practice of the UN, which is based on the fundamental principle of equality of all of its member states."
