My dear daddy, Lt. Col. Byron A. Black, USAF (Ret.) died of diverticulitis.
Then again he was 89 and while near-blind still managed to keep the house
and car in order.

My parents made fun of my vegetarian diet for years. Next thing you know
they're stuffing parsley by the truckload into their kissers, and paying
attention to their food. Too late I say.

Mother died at 84. I'm 80. Don't feel it.
