I wasted a lot of time yesterday trying to make Zoom work. I was able to
initiate a Zoom conference/conversation between our 2 computers. I have
successfully Zoomed twice and failed twice as an invitee waiting in the
"Waiting Room" until host invited me in. This is an academic discussion
group at UT and not having a UT email address I have to be invited by
the host. In one of the failures, I saw the face of the host and he me
momentarily before the connection failed.

It occurs to me while doing my exercises that Skype has got to be the
best conferencing app because it is a standalone program whereas the
others use a browser interface which is a bad choice because of the
infinite proliferation of different browsers and different versions of
those browsers.  An x amount of coding incompatibilies.
Zoom informed me that my Firefox browser wouldn't work and to hie myself
to the Chrome browser.
