Hi, Survivors, (how did we make it?!?!)
One way to not-catch some diseases is to go plant based. Here is a poster I
got this morning. Some friends can't get it due to filters so I downloaded
it to attach to an email. Here it is.
I have friends who have contracted some of these brave new diseases. Some
of them never altogether go away. My friend who got SARS is in and out of
the hospital frequently. I fear that if the SARS doesn't get him the
hospital will.
Another one had to be in the ICU for over a month and has partially lost
the use of one eye, I believe it was MERS that infected her. We call her
the MIllion Dollar Gal.
I am the grand-daughter of the town butcher. The grass fed beef that he
sold wasn't subject to the hurdles that microbes are jumping due to massive
antibiotic use with farm animals. It is time to beware of new potentially
deadly pandemics.
My ancestors were survivors of the plague that killed 3/4 of the world
population in the Dark Ages. I feel immunologically bulletproof. But you
can't be too careful when you enter the last stages demographic.
