I'm glad you mentioned MONEY as that seems to have been overlooked in all
the cautions I've been reading.

Cash money is in fact by far the filthiest daily item we handle, in part
because the nature of the fibers making up the tough paper catch and hold
(URP) fecal particles, bacteria, and all kinds of pathogens. Whenever I'm
in a ban or have a moment to talk to a cashier I always warn them about
scrubbing up after handling wampum.
