Consumer Cellular gives good support. A techie walked me through
resetting phone to factory settings. Took around 45 minutes but she
walked me through a complicated procedure.
Receiving a call (wait three rings and then press green icon and you're
good to go) is easier than making a call. Hold the thing to your head
after you press the green phone icon and you can hear the incoming call.
Another thing we just learned is to turn the ring up to maximum loudness
and take the phone out of its case if it has one so you'll hear it from
inside your man purse. Call CC support and they'll walk you through
setting the loudness.
As for calling out, there's a phone shaped icon on the top screen. Press
that and a new screen appears. I believe you press on some icon on the
bottom of that screen which brings up a virtual dialing keyboard. You
dial the number and press on some icon - I don't know which - which
dials the number out.
Don't set up a voice mailbox. It uses up your minutes. What did you say
your number was?
