[AGL] why don't they tell us these things?

Like Sandy Chernokowski's memorial, the world is not arranged to inform 
me and my family,
wife Madelon, about what we need/want to know about and attend.

it turns out that Shannon Sedwick and partner Michael Shelton have 
repurchased that dim
sports bar on Lamar and 12th with the fake German menu and 
appurtenances, the very
same bar you stopped to going to after having gone there once or twice 
in the 60s. that's
fairly close to home and one can only imagine a bar where one could go 
to in this day and
age and run into someone you know.


PS I'm sure many of you named Frances and Fontaine knew about this. But 
they follow
the old Austin rule of thumb that if you didn't know about the party, 
you weren't meant
to attend it.
