 We got up early today because wife Madelon, ghetto list subscriber Connie Clark and Scout Hook whom you all know are on a 2 day trip to Corpus to see the Dorothy Hook exhibition at the museum there. Around 4am we saw one illuminated window. Later this morning around 7:30 I took this picture.
 This time no window was illuminated.
 
 I took a walk recently with Ed Ward around downtown. He informed me that he had been given to understand that many/most of the apartments in the new very highrise towers had been purchased as investments by absentee owners (Chinese? Russians? son-in-laws of African dictators?)
