I'm sure I'll see him one day.
His vibe is such you think conversation would be a violation of his somewhat angry space?And perhaps cause him to respond in a hostile way?

what he "removes" could be demon, or devil or something he considers healing and cleansing and a salvation for the person, which is quite different from removing a soul which, usually indicates malice and is a job traditionally reserved for the devil.

had to google the word empyrean.
1.
a. The highest reaches of heaven, believed by the ancients to be a realm of pure fire or light.
b. The abode of God and the angels; paradise.
2. The sky.

cool

so you think he takes souls and tosses them to the highest reaches of heaven into the realm of pure fire?
for destruction, or cleansing?

I think we have some really good science fantasy plot possibilities here.
