Women and their Work, collaborative work, "Thirst". One of millions of Texas trees killed by our persistent drought, installed in suspension above the surface of Lady Bird Lake. It may be seen as a visual question, asking "how am I using/conserving water available to me." This meta-artful event, which touches deep and dramatizes the tension, in that empty space, between the roots and the water...an unmet yearning. My blessing is having the pool of other reflect to me, my experience, where I can drop my stone of change....you help generate the lovely ripples of happiness that float above and around any weight my stone thought it possessed.... ..
