i got lucky yesterday. i checked out the new Federal court house on   i 
t s   f i r s t   d a y.

no pictures, they held camera at the door/security while i went to the 
4th floor and heard
1 of the Yassim crime family plead guilty to selling an automatic pistol 
in connection
with the commission of drug trafficing, though not by him, personally. 
the judge walked him
through his plea of guilty. he was flanked by hippie suited lawyer with 
long pigtail and
woman's waist. i wasnt sure of the lawyer's gender since i was looking 
at the back
and the pigtail. when he turned he was wearing a beard. the Yassim 
brother wasnt
promised 36 months but the judge said it depended on the guidelines from 
a probate
board which he would look at. sentencing set for March 1. 2 guards in 
suits took him
out of the side of the courtroom into a holding pen. as i had snuck in 
and was
sitting in the back only then could i see his chained feet and that his 
hands were
manacled.

the security force wear dark blue blazers with brass buttons. we looked 
for the label
and they were tailored by Harpio. free issue. i got my camera back.

yes those are blast walls on 5th and 4th. Nueces St is now barred to 
traffic but you
can go into the court house free and easy

but not its first day
