what is shocking to me in this link is the article  that it wasn't  
until Nov 1963 that UT decided to integrate sports and they were the  
first in the southern conference to do so! And Darrel Royal was  
reluctant to comment either way about the decision except to say it  
would be a while before any negro  was eligible to play.
