Byron,

I'm not sure I see the point of Grouply. This is a new
Google venture which promises  to put access to
all one's Internet groups on a single Web page.
Presumably Google will put ads on this page and
make $$$.

Austin-ghetto is a maillist which arrives as email.
If you get email, there it is. No muss, no fuss.
Who needs to look at Google ads?

If I am overlooking something, please explain.

If you have a picture or pictures of your art
which you wish to share with us, please feel
free to attach said image/images to your email to
AGL so we can see it/them.

And I urge other subscribers who wish to
share interesting pictures with us to send
them directly to AGL. There are a bunch
of sites like Flickr where folks post pictures
and invite friends to look at them. But
that requires that one subscribe to yet another
"service" requiring a log in and, if you arent
careful, to receive endless email spam from
them to buy something.
