        David's daddy was pres of the student body at A&M. That might be a strong legacy magnetizing him in that direction Burnt Orange or no. 
        I heard a really funny story about the college rivalry. One Aggie dad ribbed his daughter that she couldn't get in for some program at A&M, that she couldn't pass muster somehow. She applied and sought admission at A&M and got it. She took the letter of acceptance and showed it to her dad. Then she announced to him that she still planned to attend UT.

                  This is a fine young man--son of former Ag Comm, Garry Mauro. It is quick and easy to help him out in this scholarship contest. He has a bright future ahead of him. I hope he choses UT over his dad's alma mater, Texas A&M.
