Me too, although there is a straight looking one of
her by herself also in the show, still very serious
expression. The couple are Tibetan nobility, and the
elaborate dress reflects status - didn't really say
anything about a wedding, but it could be.
I noticed if you click on the picassa album, then
click on the right panel 'slideshow' the photos are
enlarged to fill the screen, which makes it easier to
see.
I'm glad you liked them. As far as I can find out,
there is not a book of collected photos of Zhuang
Xueben available to us yet. He is, it seems, a Chinese
version of our American Indian photographer, is it
Edward Curtis?
