As mac person since 1992 I can only say yeah get it you are doing well choosing a Mac
It hasn´t´done me wrong and I´ve had 5 over the last year. Each better than the last. G4 Aluminum 
Powerbook a bit old but absolutely dependable. Photography and Final Cut Pro  all is well
